Jomtien offers an abundance of restaurants, which offer numerous international cuisines as well as traditional Thai dishes. Although a quieter area than Pattaya, Jomtien also has a wide and varied nightlife, with plenty of entertainment on offer, catering for everyone - including sports & music bars, cabaret and family orientated establishments; Jomtien even has its very own Walking Street - Super Town.

There are many beauty salons, massage parlors in Jomtien, where you can enjoy relaxation treatments and traditional Thai massages; there are also a range of shops and markets offering items such as clothing, souvenirs and fresh fruit and vegetables. 

There are two great night markets in Jomtien, one on Beach Road (next to Jomtien Beach), which is open every night and popular for its many cheap food stalls among other wares.  The other night market is the popular Thepprasit Night Market, which is held every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, and well worth a visit - this is one of Pattaya's largest markets with many stalls offering a variety of goods, from clothes to electronics, and a large food area where you can sample a huge range of delicious authentic Thai street food.

Pattaya and the surrounding areas offer numerous fantastic attractions, such as Pattaya Floating Market, Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden and the Sanctuary of Truth, and many golfing opportunities, and Jomtien is a great place to explore these from. A short ride from Jomtien Beach Road on the Baht Bus will take you into Central Pattaya, with its abundance of shops, restaurants and bars, vibrant night life and plenty of tourist attractions.  There is also a 4 km sandy beach offering various water sports, along with trips to the nearby scenic island of Koh Larn (Coral Island) providing white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters,

There are many tourist agents offering a variety of day trips and excursions to attractions if you want to explore further afield - to places such as Angkor Wat in Cambodia, Bangkok, Erawan National Park and the Bridge over the River Kwai.
